Winter Senses Walk

Winter Senses Walk

A sensory nature walk exploring winter sights, sounds, and textures outdoors.

Join a guided walk along the half-mile Overlook Trail to experience nature's quiet side during the colder months. This gentle outing invites you to pause and really listen—noticing the sounds (or peaceful silence) that winter offers. Along the way, a leader will share why spending time outside is valuable all year long, even when temperatures drop. It's a chance to slow down and appreciate the calm that the season brings. This walk works well for families and individuals of all ages who enjoy being outdoors at a relaxed pace. Bundle up warmly, and come ready to embrace the winter landscape and whatever sounds surround you. For questions about the program, reach out to the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (they're open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.).
