Wild & Scenic Film Festival

The Summit Metro Parks Foundation is bringing an acclaimed film festival to Akron that celebrates the natural world and highlights why conservation matters. You'll watch a curated collection of films featuring compelling stories from across the United States and beyond. All screenings show the same program, so you can choose the time that works best for your family. Tickets go on sale December 14. This two-hour event takes place at The Nightlight, an independent nonprofit theater in downtown Akron dedicated to bringing the community together through film. All proceeds support the Summit Metro Parks Foundation's efforts to protect local natural resources and help families connect with nature. The event is welcoming to all ages, making it a great option for families looking to explore environmental themes together in a comfortable theater setting.
