Wild & Scenic Film Festival

The Summit Metro Parks Foundation is bringing the Wild & Scenic Film Festival to Akron—a celebration of nature and conservation through film. This world-class festival showcases an inspiring collection of stories from across the United States and around the globe, all selected to highlight the beauty of our natural world. All ticket proceeds go directly to support the Foundation's work in protecting and managing the region's parks and natural spaces, helping ensure these areas remain clean, safe, and accessible for families to enjoy and explore. The festival will be held at The Nightlight, an independent nonprofit movie theater in downtown Akron dedicated to bringing the community together through cinema. Every showing features the same selection of films, so you can choose the time that works best for your family. Tickets go on sale in mid-December.
