Whooo’s for dinner?
Discover owl behavior and hunting habits on this wildlife-focused nature program.
This naturalist-led program gives families an up-close look at owl biology, with a focus on what these fascinating birds eat. After learning about owls during an interactive presentation, kids and adults get hands-on experience dissecting an owl pellet—the indigestible bits that owls regurgitate—to uncover clues about the bird's meal. It's a great way to understand owl anatomy and hunting habits through direct observation.
The program welcomes participants of all ages, from youth through seniors. Registration is required and opens January 1st. For more information or questions about the program, the Nature Realm Visitors Center is available Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. You can reach them at 330-865-8065.
