Waterfowl in the Fall
Spot ducks, geese, and other waterfowl as they migrate through Ohio in fall.
Spend a morning exploring Summit Lake with a knowledgeable naturalist guide as migratory waterfowl pass through the area in autumn. Your group will take a leisurely walk while watching for ducks, geese, and other water birds making their seasonal journey. If you'd like to get a closer look, binoculars are available to borrow at no extra cost—they're handed out on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early is helpful if you want to use a pair.
This is a great outing for families curious about local wildlife and fall migration patterns. The program runs for about an hour and a half, giving you plenty of time to observe and learn. All ages are welcome. If you have questions before heading out, you can reach the Nature Realm Visitors Center by phone during their regular hours.
