Tracks & Scat for Kids
Kids learn to identify animal tracks and scat on a guided nature walk.
Kids will learn to spot and identify animal tracks and droppings during this outdoor nature walk in the Tallmadge Meadows area. It's a hands-on way to discover what wildlife lives nearby and understand the signs they leave behind. The program works well for preschoolers and elementary-age children who enjoy exploring outdoors and learning about animals.
Since this activity takes place outside in February, make sure your child is dressed warmly and ready for the weather. The program runs for about 90 minutes. If you have questions before heading out, you can reach the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (they're open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.).
