Touch-a-Truck

Join us for Touch-a-Truck at Munroe Falls Metro Park, where kids and adults alike can climb aboard and explore more than a dozen vehicles from Summit Metro Parks and local emergency responders. This hands-on experience gives families an up-close look at the trucks and equipment that serve our community. Depending on availability, you might even see Akron Children's Hospital's Air Bear helicopter. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a special sensory-friendly hour from 10 to 11 a.m. designed for children with autism and sensory sensitivities—this quieter window features no sirens, music, or flashing lights. This family-friendly outing is presented by Wayside Furniture and offers a fun, educational way to spend an afternoon at the lake area.
