The SpYder Stompers, a local favorite for over three decades, bring foot-stomping country blues, ragtime, and string band classics—plus original compositions. For this special show, they'll perform as a trio with Kevin T. Richards, Jack DiAlesandro, and Kari Ann Rutushin. They're joined by acclaimed touring artists Andy Cohen, Eleanor Ellis, and William Lee Ellis, who are promoting their new album. Tickets start at $20. The visiting musicians bring serious credentials: Cohen is a fingerstyle guitarist and expert in traditional pre-WWII blues and folk traditions; Ellis is recognized as a master of country and Piedmont blues and a founder of the DC Blues Society; and Bill Ellis, a college music professor, is an award-nominated fingerpicking guitarist and songwriter.
