The Solidarity Series: Brent Kirby

Brent Kirby takes the stage as part of the Solidarity Series, an evening of folk music showcasing one of Cleveland's most celebrated singer-songwriters. Known for crafting deeply personal yet universally relatable songs, Kirby's warm, weathered voice and thoughtful lyrics draw listeners in as active participants in his music. His work has earned him recognition including a 2022 "Best Folk" award from the Cleveland Music Awards and a "Best Songwriter" nomination from Cleveland Scene. Beyond his solo performances, he's involved in several local musical projects and hosts a weekly songwriter showcase that's helped nurture Cleveland's original music community.
