Stand-up Paddleboarding Open House

This open house introduces families to stand-up paddleboarding through hands-on instruction and practice. Certified instructors will teach basic paddleboard techniques, and participants get to take a short, self-guided paddle on the lake. The program welcomes teens and adults—kids must be at least 13 years old, and younger teens (ages 13–17) need to come with an adult. All the gear you'll need, including life jackets, is provided, so you just need to show up ready to get wet. A few things to keep in mind: wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that can handle water, and bring a water bottle. Swimmers only, since swimming ability is required. Paddleboards are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with limited availability, so arriving early is a good idea.
