Spree With Me: Natural History

Get out on the trail with a park naturalist who'll guide you through the 3.2-mile Nuthatch Trail—a moderately challenging hike with elevation changes. As you make your way through the landscape, you'll learn about the park's natural history and discover what's happening with the local stream and surrounding environment. This outing also counts toward completing your Fall Hiking Spree trail credit. This program works well for teens and adults who enjoy hiking and want to deepen their understanding of the area's ecosystems. The two-hour event combines fresh air and exercise with expert-led education, making it a great way to explore the park more intentionally. Questions?
