Spectacular Watercolors | Acuarelas Espectaculares

Your family can dive into a watercolor workshop led by local artist Jeff Suntala at the Community Arts Center. During this three-hour session, participants will learn how storytelling connects to creating landscapes while exploring the watercolor medium itself. The workshop draws inspiration from a special exhibition on American watercolor, and you'll have time to reflect on memories and feelings from your own experiences in nature. No artistic experience is necessary—this workshop welcomes everyone, from complete beginners to those with some background. All supplies are provided and are nontoxic, so you won't need to bring materials. Admission is free, though you do need to register in advance by emailing commartsinfo@clevelandart.org. Jeff Suntala is a Cleveland-area artist and Cooper School of Art graduate who specializes in plein air watercolor painting, bringing both professional skill and genuine passion to teaching others about the craft.
