Snakes for Kids
Educational program about snakes at LP/Nature Center in Twinsburg.
Kids and their adult companions are invited to explore the world of snakes with a naturalist guide during this hands-on nature program. The experience begins indoors at the shelter, where families will participate in educational activities and meet an animal ambassador up close. From there, you'll venture onto the scenic Maple Loop Trail—a paved, quarter-mile route—where you'll search for snakes in their natural environment and learn about these fascinating creatures that call our parks home.
This program welcomes children of various ages and is designed to spark curiosity about local wildlife. The combination of indoor learning and outdoor exploration makes it ideal for families who want an engaging, educational outing. The paved trail means the walk is manageable for most fitness levels, and having a knowledgeable naturalist along ensures kids get accurate, interesting information throughout the experience.
