Self-Guided Trail: Winter Bird Discovery

Self-Guided Trail: Winter Bird Discovery

Self-guided winter bird-spotting trail at FASN/Nature Realm.

Head out on the Cherry Lane Trail for a self-paced walk through nature during the winter months. This 0.6-mile route lets you explore at your own speed while learning about the birds that stay in the area year-round and survive the cold season. The trail experience runs through early December, giving families plenty of time to visit. This activity works well for all ages and requires no registration—just show up and start exploring. If you have questions before your visit, the Nature Realm Visitors Center is available Wednesday through Sunday. It's a great way to get outside, stay active, and discover local wildlife without needing to follow a structured program or schedule.
