Self-Guided: Damsels & Dragons

Take a walk along the 1.6-mile Buttonbush Trail and discover the fascinating world of damselflies and dragonflies. This self-guided experience invites families to observe these incredible insects in their natural habitat as they zoom around catching mosquitos. Simply follow the marked signs along the trail to learn about these creatures at your own pace. This activity works well for all ages and requires no registration or special skills—just show up and explore. The program runs through late August, giving you plenty of time to visit.
