Preschool Storytime

Preschoolers build kindergarten readiness through stories and songs.

Preschool Storytime is a classic library program designed for young children and their caregivers. A librarian reads aloud from picture books and children's stories, creating an interactive experience with music, movement, and fun. Kids sit together on the floor, listen to engaging tales, and often participate in sing-alongs or simple activities. It's a wonderful way for preschoolers to develop a love of reading, enjoy social time with other children, and give parents a structured, screen-free outing. Most sessions last 20–30 minutes and are relaxed and welcoming for wiggly toddlers and preschoolers.
