Play Lab
Hands-on science and play exploration for young learners at the library.
Bring your young explorer to an hour of hands-on creative fun designed just for the preschool crowd. Play Lab focuses on open-ended STEAM activities—science, technology, engineering, art, and math—presented in ways that let kids experiment and discover at their own pace. With no rigid curriculum or expected outcomes, children ages 2 through 5 have room to play, explore, and learn through doing.
This program runs on the first Tuesday of each month at the Odom Boulevard Library Branch. Sessions last one hour, giving families plenty of time to dive into the activities without feeling rushed. It's a great fit for families looking for a low-pressure way to introduce early learning concepts while their little ones simply have fun playing alongside other kids their age.
