Play Day: Assembly Required

At this free family event, your kids will explore creativity and how things come together through hands-on activities and interactive experiences. The day focuses on discovery—how pieces, ideas, and people combine to make something meaningful. You'll find a mix of activities happening throughout the morning and early afternoon, so families can move at their own pace and choose what appeals to them. Expect a variety of stations and activities led by community partners. Kids can build paper models, create collages, experiment with a scanning electron microscope, design their own recipe books based on memories, and build imaginative place settings at an art banquet table. There's also a reading nook hosted by Cleveland Public Library and free coloring books to take home. Everything is included at no cost, and no advance tickets are required—just show up ready to be hands-on and curious.
