Pawpaw Appreciation Night

Discover Ohio's native pawpaw fruit at this evening program! You'll learn about the fruit's history, nutritional benefits, and growing techniques through a presentation led by park naturalists. After the talk wraps up, you'll have a chance to taste the pawpaw's distinctive banana-like flavor and see what all the excitement is about. Everyone heads home with takeaway recipe cards and seeds to start growing your own (while supplies last). This program welcomes adults, teens, and seniors interested in learning more about local plants and sustainable gardening.
