Owl Prowl

Owl Prowl

Nighttime nature adventure hunting for owls at LP/Nature Center.

Your family is invited to explore the nighttime world of owls on an evening adventure at the nature center. The program starts with a gathering in the shelter, where a naturalist will teach you about owl calls, how these birds are specially adapted for hunting after dark, and safe ways to observe them in their natural habitat. From there, you'll head out on a quiet walk along the 1.2-mile Downy Loop Trail, putting your new owl knowledge to use as you search for these fascinating creatures. Feel free to bring a small flashlight if you'd like one. This outing welcomes visitors of all ages and experience levels—whether you're a curious beginner or a seasoned nature enthusiast. The combination of indoor learning and outdoor exploration makes it a great way to spend an evening together as a family. If you have questions before the event, you can reach the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 during their regular hours.
