Once Upon a Story

Stories, crafts, and music for babies and toddlers at Jefferson Branch Library.

Once Upon a Story is a weekly program that brings classic tales to life through an engaging mix of storytelling, creative crafts, and music. Each session celebrates the magic of beloved stories in an interactive way that keeps young listeners entertained and involved. This is an ideal program for families with young children who enjoy hands-on activities and enjoy gathering together around stories. The program runs weekly through early October at Jefferson Branch Library. Each session lasts one hour and gives kids the chance to participate in multiple activities beyond just listening—they'll have opportunities to make crafts and sing along. It's a structured but playful way to spend a morning as a family, with the library providing all the materials and activities included.
