Moments That Matter at Mather Dance Center

Case Western Reserve University's Department of Dance is presenting an evening of dance featuring both classic and new works. The program brings together pieces by renowned choreographer Mark Morris, along with works by Gary Galbraith, Yidi Lin, and a new solo by Richard Oaxaca. The production includes live musical accompaniment from pianist Karin Tooley and cellist Joe Teeter, both alumni of the Cleveland Institute of Music, adding another layer of artistry to the performance. This is a great opportunity for families interested in contemporary dance and the arts. Performances run across two weekends in late October and early November, with evening shows at 7:30 p.m. and one matinee showing at 2:30 p.m. All performances take place at the Karen Potter Studio Theater within Mather Dance Center on the Case Western Reserve campus. Tickets are affordable, ranging from free to $25, making it an accessible cultural experience. You can purchase tickets or get more information by contacting the box office at boxoffice@case.edu.
