MLK Day of Service: Seed Balls

Join a meaningful service project this MLK Day by creating seed balls with native plants that support pollinators. You and your family will craft these simple spheres during the two-hour session, then take them home to plant in spring when the weather warms. They're perfect for filling in bare patches around your yard or community spaces. This hands-on activity is a great way to honor Martin Luther King Jr.'s legacy of community service while contributing to local ecosystems. Come prepared to get a little dirty—this is a messy, creative project! Please bring an egg carton to carry your finished seed balls home. The program welcomes all ages, so families with young children and teens alike can participate together. Registration is required and opens December 1st.
