Mini Majorettes

Mini Majorettes

Beginner dance and marching arts at Mentor Community Recreation Center.

**Mini Majorettes** Young dancers ages 7 through 12 will discover the fundamentals of baton twirling in this weekly class. Students learn proper terminology and technique while mastering essential skills like twirls, rolls, and tosses. The program naturally builds hand-eye coordination as kids progress through structured instruction. Classes meet on the racquetball court at the recreation center, and each session runs about 45 minutes. Make sure your child brings their own baton and a water bottle to stay hydrated during practice. The program runs from early September through late October on Wednesday evenings. Pricing depends on membership status: members pay $200 for the full session, while non-members invest $240. Instructors Leighann Hay and Kelly Hoellein lead the classes. For more details or to register, visit the recreation center's website.
