Lil’ Sprouts

Lil' Sprouts is a biweekly program that invites young children and their caregivers to explore gardening and nature together. Each session focuses on what's currently happening in the natural world—discovering what's growing, learning about seasonal changes, and getting hands-on with harvesting. This is a chance for families to connect with the outdoors in a meaningful way while building early knowledge about plants and gardening. Parents should know that active participation is expected from adults during the program. The sessions run for an hour and a half, and spots fill up based on registration, which opens September 1st. This program works best for preschool-age children. If you have questions before signing up, the Nature Realm Visitors Center is happy to help—just give them a call during their regular hours.
