Life in the Snow
Guided nature walk exploring winter wildlife and snow ecology.
Join a guided walk through the winter forest to discover the wildlife and plant life that remains active during cold months. You'll explore the natural community together, observing trees, birds, mammals, ferns, mushrooms, and small invertebrates in their winter habitat. This is a chance to see how the forest functions year-round and appreciate the activity that continues even when snow covers the ground.
This program welcomes families and visitors of all ages. For questions about the program, contact the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 12 to 5 p.m.).
