Les Misérables

Les Misérables brings one of theater's most celebrated musicals to Cleveland. This Tony Award–winning production tells the sweeping story of Jean Valjean, a man seeking redemption in 19th-century France, alongside the relentless pursuit of Inspector Javert as their lives intersect with themes of revolution, sacrifice, and love. The show features some of the most recognizable songs in musical theater, including "I Dreamed a Dream," "On My Own," and "Do You Hear the People Sing?" This production is best suited for families with older children and teens who can appreciate a longer, emotionally complex narrative. The musical combines grand romance, intense drama, and powerful orchestration into an experience that appeals to both longtime fans and newcomers. Tickets range from $25 to $75, and you can purchase them through the theater's website or by calling the box office. The show runs through early April at the Hanna Theatre, located in the heart of Playhouse Square.
