Kinderealm: Skunks

Your preschooler will get an up-close introduction to skunks at this one-hour nature program designed for children ages 3 to 6. The session combines storytelling, a hands-on craft project, and a short guided walk through the natural area—giving kids a fun way to learn about these distinctive striped animals and why they're such interesting parts of our local ecosystem. This free program does require advance registration, which opens July 1st. Parents should note that younger children who can't comfortably stay in strollers or infant seats won't be a good fit for this activity.
