Kinderealm: Butterflies

Join your preschooler for an hour-long exploration of butterflies at the Nature Realm. Children ages 3 to 6 will discover how these insects transform through their life cycle by listening to a story, completing a hands-on craft project, and taking a short nature walk outdoors. Each child should come with an adult companion. Please note that infants and very young children who cannot stay in strollers or infant seats will need alternative care arrangements. This program is free to attend, though registration is required and opens on June 1st. The Nature Realm Visitors Center team can answer any questions you have about the program—just call them during their regular hours. This is a great way for young nature enthusiasts to learn about one of summer's most fascinating creatures in an interactive, outdoor setting.
