Kinderealm: Butterflies

Kinderealm: Butterflies

Free nature education program about butterflies—great for kids.

Little ones ages 3 to 6 are invited to explore the fascinating world of butterflies alongside a grown-up. This hour-long session combines storytelling, a hands-on craft project, and a leisurely nature walk to help children discover how these delicate insects transform through their life cycle. It's a wonderful way to spark curiosity about nature while enjoying time outdoors together. The program is free and takes place at the Summit Lake Nature Center. Registration is required and opens June 1st. Parents should note that younger children who cannot stay safely in a stroller or infant seat will need alternative care during the activity. For questions or to register, contact the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (open Wednesday–Saturday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday, 12–5 p.m.).
