Kids in the Garden

Get your children outdoors for a seasonal gardening experience designed just for them. Working alongside Let's Grow Akron, kids will get their hands dirty with classic gardening tasks—planting seeds, watering plants, and harvesting what's ready to pick. Each session brings a different seasonal theme tied to what's currently growing in the garden, so there's always something new to discover. Expect a mix of hands-on garden work, a game or craft activity, and a themed snack to wrap things up. The program welcomes children of all ages and works in any weather—if conditions turn rough, the activity simply moves indoors.
