Kids in the Garden

Your child will get their hands dirty—literally—at this hands-on gardening program created in partnership with Let's Grow Akron. Designed for kids of all ages, the session combines real gardening work with seasonal fun. Children will plant seeds, water plants, help with harvesting, and discover what grows in the garden throughout the year. Each visit includes a game or craft activity, time working in the garden, and a themed snack that connects to whatever's currently ready to pick. The program runs for an hour and welcomes preschoolers through school-age children. If weather doesn't cooperate, activities move indoors so your family won't miss out.
