Kids in the Garden

Your child will get their hands dirty—in the best way—at this hands-on gardening program run in partnership with Let's Grow Akron. Kids of all ages are welcome to participate in planting, watering, and harvesting activities right in the garden. The session includes a game or craft project, interactive gardening work, and a themed snack based on what's currently growing and ready to pick. The hour-long program offers a nice mix of learning and play, giving children a chance to connect with nature while discovering how gardens work. If the weather doesn't cooperate, activities will move indoors so your family won't miss out. For questions before you come, the Nature Realm Visitors Center is happy to help—just call them during their regular hours.
