Kids Fest and Duck Race

Bring the kids for a full afternoon of activities at Mill Stream Run Reservation Chalet. The main event kicks off at 2 p.m. when rubber ducks are launched into the water and race toward the Camp Cheerful Bridge finish line. Before and after the big race, children can enjoy face painting, pony rides, games, and other entertainment from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Want to participate in the duck race? You can sponsor a duck online ahead of time or purchase one at the event—the winning duck's sponsor takes home a $2,000 grand prize. For pony rides, note that free tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis with assigned time slots to keep wait times manageable. Children must weigh 75 pounds or less to ride.
