Kayak & Canoe Open House

This is a great opportunity for families to try paddling on the lake with expert guidance. During this open house event, certified instructors will teach basic paddling techniques and lead short self-guided paddles. Kayaks are available for paddlers 13 and older (teens aged 13–17 need an adult with them), while canoes work well for families with younger children. All equipment, including life jackets, is provided. To participate, you'll need to wear closed-toe shoes, be comfortable in the water, and dress in clothes that can get wet—bring a water bottle too. Since spots fill up on a first-come, first-served basis, arriving early is a good idea. Keep in mind the location may shift depending on water conditions.
