Jolly for Holly
Holiday nature program at GYH Pioneer Area.
Join a guided nature walk along the scenic 1.4-mile Alder Trail to learn about one of winter's most interesting plants. A knowledgeable naturalist will lead your family through the park and explain how holly trees are able to keep their vibrant green leaves throughout the cold months when most other plants have lost theirs. It's a great way to appreciate the natural world during the holiday season and discover botanical secrets you might not know.
This program welcomes families of all ages and takes place in person at the Pioneer Area. If you'd like more information before heading out, the Nature Realm Visitors Center is available to answer questions at 330-865-8065. They're open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
