Intro to BMX

Intro BMX lesson — learn bike tricks and skills at a local park.

This program introduces young people ages 12 to 25 to BMX biking through hands-on instruction. Working with South Street Ministries, the instructors will teach foundational techniques including bike handling, balance, braking, and basic tricks. All the equipment you'll need—BMX-style bikes and safety helmets—is provided, so participants don't need to bring their own gear. The session runs for three hours, giving kids plenty of time to build confidence and develop their skills in a supportive setting. This is a great option for anyone curious about BMX but unsure where to start. For more information about the program, you can reach the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (they're open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.).
