Homeschoolers: Soils

This event invites homeschooled children ages 7 to 12 to explore soil science with a naturalist guide at Coventry Oaks Lodge. Participants will engage in hands-on activities focused on understanding the living ecosystems found in soil and how they support life above ground. The two-hour program offers a practical introduction to natural science in an outdoor setting. Registration is required and opens August 1st. If you have questions about the program, you can contact the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065. They're available Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m. This is a great option for homeschooling families looking for educational activities that combine learning with outdoor exploration.
