Homeschoolers: Park Careers

Is your homeschooler curious about working outdoors and protecting nature? This program invites kids ages 7–12 to explore several rewarding career paths within parks and recreation. Through hands-on activities, your child will discover what it's like to work as a naturalist, park police officer, park technician, field biologist, or in customer service roles. It's a great way to learn whether a career in parks might be the right fit while having fun doing it. Registration is required, and sign-ups begin October 1st. They're available Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
