Homegrown Habitat: Recording Your Progress
Nature-based learning: document wildlife progress at FASN/Nature Realm.
Interested in turning your yard into a thriving wildlife habitat? This session invites anyone with outdoor space—whether a sprawling yard or a modest garden—to explore practical ways of rewilding your landscape. You'll learn techniques for documenting and celebrating the biodiversity that naturally shows up once your green space is restored, using methods like nature journaling and community science projects. It's a hands-on way to track the living world right in your own backyard.
This program is designed for adults, teens, and seniors who want to deepen their connection with nature while contributing to local conservation efforts. The event takes place at the Nature Realm Visitors Center and runs for 90 minutes. For questions about registration or specifics, you can reach the Nature Realm team at 330-865-8065 during their regular hours.
