Homegrown Habitat: Fall Garden Care

Homegrown Habitat: Fall Garden Care

Learn fall gardening tips and habitat care at FASN Visitors Center.

As you prepare your yard for cooler months, discover how to make your outdoor space a welcoming refuge for wildlife during fall and winter. This session covers the important dos and don'ts of caring for your garden when the season changes. You'll learn to see your yard from a critter's perspective—understanding what backyard animals need to survive the cold before you do your typical fall cleanup. Whether you have a sprawling yard or just a small green corner, this program welcomes anyone interested in creating a habitat-friendly landscape. The session runs for about 90 minutes at the nature center. For questions about the program, call the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (open Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday noon to 5 p.m.).
