Homegrown Habitat: Busy Bumblebees

This program invites families and gardeners of all levels to explore ways of making outdoor spaces more wildlife-friendly. The session focuses specifically on bumblebees—how they live and what they need to thrive. Instructors will share which plants to grow and what gardening practices work best to support these important pollinators, whether your yard is sprawling or modest in size. The program runs for about an hour and a half in the evening and welcomes adults, teens, and seniors. It takes place at the Nature Realm Visitors Center.
