Hawks, Owls and Eagles…Oh My!

Your family will discover what makes hawks, owls, and eagles such remarkable hunters during this nature center program. A naturalist will guide you through identifying these birds of prey by examining their flight patterns and other observable clues. You'll learn how hawks hunt during daylight hours using speed and agility, while owls are nighttime hunters that fly nearly silently. Both birds play a crucial role in their ecosystems by controlling rodent populations and keeping nature in balance. This program welcomes adults, teens, and seniors and runs for about an hour and a half. It's held at the Liberty Park Nature Center location in Twinsburg. If you have questions before attending, you can reach the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (they're open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.).
