Hands ON! Set Design

Hands ON! Set Design

Family-friendly hands-on workshop exploring set design at Cleveland History Center.

Your family can explore the creative side of filmmaking at this interactive workshop. Participants step into a filmmaker's role by building their own movie world, experimenting with props, and discovering how small design choices shape an entire scene. It's a hands-on experience that gives kids a behind-the-scenes look at how professionals bring stories to life through set design. The workshop runs throughout the fall, and you can drop in during open hours without needing to arrive at a specific time—perfect for fitting it into your schedule. This program celebrates creativity, imagination, and storytelling for families who enjoy learning how movies are made. General admission is available, and members receive a discounted rate. The Cleveland History Center hosts the workshop from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily during the event dates. For more information or questions, you can reach the venue directly or visit their website.
