Full Moon Hike & Fire

Join us for an evening exploring the winter night sky during February's full Snow Moon. You'll hike along moonlit trails while learning about lunar phases and the story behind the Snow Moon's name. As you walk, listen for nocturnal wildlife and take in the beauty of the winter sky. Telescopes will be available for stargazing, weather permitting, so you can get an up-close view of the moon and stars. After your hike, everyone gathers around a fire to warm up with hot chocolate. This program welcomes adults, teens, and youth, making it a nice outing for mixed-age groups. For questions about the event, you can reach the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (open Wednesday–Saturday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday 12–5 p.m.).
