Fishing Friday

Looking for a fun way to introduce your kids to fishing? Fishing Friday is a laid-back afternoon where families can try out this classic outdoor activity without needing to own equipment. The staff will have fishing rods and bait ready to go—just bring yourselves and a willingness to learn. This is a great option for all ages, whether your children have fished before or are picking up a rod for the first time. Keep in mind that anyone 16 and older will need a valid Ohio fishing license to participate. If you have questions before heading out, you can reach the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065. They're available Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
