Firefighters Challenge

Watch local firefighters compete in the Northeast Classic, a three-day qualifying event leading to the U.S. National Championship. This multi-day competition features firefighters testing their skills on challenging obstacle courses, with competitions running Thursday through Saturday. The event includes open practice sessions each morning, qualifying rounds, team championships, and a finale with awards ceremony on Saturday morning. Spectator admission is completely free—no tickets needed—and you're welcome to drop in whenever works for your schedule. Saturday morning is particularly worth planning around, as it hosts the championship finale featuring the top athletes from each division competing in what's known as "the toughest two minutes in sports." If you want to see the full experience, the opening ceremony on Friday morning kicks off the official competition.
