Feed the Animals

Your child can step into the role of junior wildlife caretaker at this hands-on program designed for kids ages 8 and up. During this 1.5-hour session, you'll work directly with the Center's animal care staff to prepare meals, treats, and enrichment activities for the facility's resident animals. After making these creations, you'll get to feed them to the animals themselves—giving your child an up-close look at how nutrition and diet play an important role in animal care. This behind-the-scenes small-group experience offers plenty of memorable interactions with the Center's diverse collection of animals. An adult chaperone is required and is included in the program cost of $100. To find available dates and register, visit the Center's offerings page.
