Fairmount Teen Curators

Teens interested in art and behind-the-scenes work will get hands-on experience creating a real exhibition at Fairmount Center for the Arts. Over the course of several weeks, participants learn what it takes to plan and execute an art show from start to finish—everything from selecting pieces to designing the display and bringing the whole vision to life. This program runs through mid-August and meets twice a week in the late afternoon. It's a great fit for teenagers who are curious about how museums and galleries operate or who want to explore art in a more active way than traditional classes offer.
