Environmental Justice Walk

This guided walk brings families together for meaningful reflection on environmental justice, led by a knowledgeable naturalist. You'll honor Martin Luther King Jr. while exploring how environmental concerns connect to justice—both historically and today. The walk takes place at the river access point, offering a chance to discuss these important topics in nature. This program welcomes all ages and works well for families interested in learning about environmental activism and its roots. The hour-long walk combines outdoor time with thoughtful conversation, making it accessible for various fitness levels. If you have questions before attending, you can reach the Nature Realm Visitors Center at 330-865-8065 (they're open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.).
